Hålogaland Teater

The Sound of Music , written by Rodgers and Hammerstein, is an iconic both musical and film production. On 12 October, the city of Tromsø will be greeted with one of the biggest productions in the history of Hålogaland Teater. “There are 16 musicians, 20 adult actors and 13 children,” explains market and information adviser at the theatre, Stein Sebastian Fredriksen. “It’s going to be spectacular, and it’s great that it’s a musical so many people know and love – the songs are known to get stuck in your head. It’s just great to be able to sit back and enjoy the beautiful music and songs, and let romance blossom in the Swiss alps.”
