With its seven elegant gardens, each reflecting a different style or historic period, and set in the grounds of Abelin’s stately home, Norrviken has long been a popular destination for a day out. This summer, its elegance is set to be shown off at its very best with the introduction of a programme of exhibitions, events and botanical installations to intrigue and inspire, all tied together by the theme of ‘Romance’. Highlights include an exhibition of sketches by renowned designer Hannah Wendelbo, top-class photography exhibitions by Terry O’Neill and Anna Lauridsen, artistic flower displays and guided tours of the gardens – including one on the theme of ‘the Wild Pantry’, where visitors can learn how to forage for wild plants.
