Svenstrup Efterskole

Svenstrup Efterskole has chosen to focus on the academic subjects and teaching them at the highest standard. Alongside these, the students can choose between five different pathways, which they spend five hours a week on: football, dance, creative, music and sport. The 140 students live and go to school with each other and form friendships that last a lifetime during their year at the efterskole. “It was important for us to create a space for those who really want to learn, where the teachers can challenge them and where curiosity is at the forefront of everything we do,” explains Gitte Edelgaard, principal and co-founder of Svenstrup Efterskole.
