What started as the founders’ vision for a creative place where people could meet, has become that and much more. Bruket i Wiared is a lifestyle destination with accommodation, food and drink, shopping, and entertainment – all in one fantastic countryside location.

Located in the old industrial community of Viared, just outside Borås, Bruket i Wiared has become somewhat of an oasis. Visitors come to this countryside destination to enjoy a coffee or lunch, buy freshly baked bread from the bakery, browse the interior boutique, listen to music or attend an event, and perhaps stay the night in a glamping tent or a cosy room in the villa.

With around 200,000 visitors per year, Bruket has become an incredibly popular destination in just a few years’ time. “Coming to Bruket is an experience,” says Albert Alexandersson, CEO. “The setting is beautiful and all the creative people in this area, who put their heart and soul into what they do, open up for conversations and inspire new ideas. In a way, Bruket is a celebration of the people who once lived and worked here. We want to respect that heritage and continue to use this place, our way.”

Everything here is made by hand and with care, honouring traditions but with a modern take. In the café, the team serves home-cooked meals and the bakery makes delicious bread, cakes and more. There is more to discover at Bruket. Housed in an old barn, the interior boutique Hjärterum offers beautiful designs from around the world. Across two floors, you will find a mix of timeless pieces and rustic charm – things to give your home personality.

For those who want to stay the night, check in at Brukets Camp. “With 12 glamping tents, this is a countryside oasis,” says Sandra Stefansson, co-founder of Bruket. “You get a bit of luxury and comfort, while being close to nature. It’s a mix of the simple life and the good life.” If you prefer a bit more comfort, there are three cosy hotel rooms available in the villa.

Overnight guests can also use the sauna and outdoor gym, borrow a bike and explore the surroundings, or just enjoy the chilled-out atmosphere. As if that was not enough, Bruket also has a programme with concerts and other events. Stefansson adds: “This is a place where people end up staying longer than planned, just because they love spending time here.”
