The idea behind skincare brand Camilla of Sweden is that all products should be made sustainably with natural ingredients of the highest quality. In addition to popular products such as Face Oil Age Limit and Tan Oil, this spring sees the launch of Sun Mist SPF 30 and Sun Mist SPF 50, two new sunscreen products that your skin will love.
Combining natural, organic and affordable skincare with Swedish craftsmanship, Camilla of Sweden makes popular products that are free from sulphates, silicones and mineral oils. The range includes everything from nail oils, face creams and tan oils to softening lip balms, all with enticing scents.
“We love being able to offer Swedish-made skin care that is also natural and organic. We want you to get the best for your skin,” says Camilla Liljeros, who founded the company 21 years ago. “Quality and transparency are important, so that the customer feels safe and secure about how the products are made and what they contain, and we choose our retail partners carefully.”
From nail oil to blueberry stem cells
It all started with Nail Oil, a product that strengthens and nourishes nails and cuticles. “We were one of the first to offer a nail oil with refill, and this is where things really took off,” says Liljeros. The elegant nail oil has a silky formula enriched with nourishing oils that moisturise dry cuticles, strengthen brittle nails, and give a beautiful shine. It is available in irresistible scents such as white lily, coconut, fruity pear, and sweet candy.
Another popular product is Face Oil Age Limit, an anti-ageing oil that deeply nourishes and moisturises the skin. The unique formula helps counteract fine lines and gives the skin a natural glow and softness – perfect for your daily skincare routine. “This is the first product in the Nordics, as far as we know, with blueberry stem cell treatment,” explains the founder.
The long-term best-seller in Tan Oil, a sophisticated sun oil created for those who do not want to compromise between results and content. With a base of cold-pressed botanical oils and powerful carotene, it gives your skin an instant sun-kissed finish and a scent of endless summer.
Sun Mist: the reef friendly sunscreen
New this year is a duo of sun protection products: Sun Mist SPF 30 and Sun Mist SPF 50. The advanced sun protection is enriched with antioxidant power and probiotics. “You will protect your skin in an instant with Sun Mist,” says Liljeros. “This ultra-light sun spray combines highly effective, modern filters with caring ingredients to provide invisible protection that keeps skin hydrated, calm and resistant to premature ageing.”

Designed for the poolside, Sun Mist comes in a sleek and durable aluminium bottle that is as practical as it is stylish. “Unlike glass bottles, aluminium is shatterproof – ideal for pool areas, tiled surfaces and the beach where glass is undesirable,” adds Liljeros. “Also, aluminium protects the active ingredients from light and temperature changes, while the packaging is 100 per cent recyclable.”
Not only is Sun Mist produced with ingredients as natural as possible, it is water resistant, fragrance-free and gentle for the skin, and the product is also considered reef friendly. The brand’s products are all made in Sweden, including the sunscreen, with production outside Gothenburg.
