Located in the charming Meriton Old Town Garden Hotel, in the historic heart of Tallinn, Restaurant Trofé serves up authentic Nordic flavours with a twist.
Since opening its doors in 2015, Trofé has delighted guests with a modern take on classic Estonian and Scandinavian cuisine. The restaurant’s name, inspired by the Norwegian word for hunting trophy, reflects its focus on game, meat, and fish sourced from the Baltics and Scandinavia.

Located in a historical building whose earliest mention dates back to 1355, the restaurant celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2025 and features two separate halls in the cosy medieval cellar. Additionally, during summer, guests can dine on the terrace on Pikk Street or in the hotel’s courtyard. Here, guests can savour signature dishes such as salmon tartare, chicken-mushroom dumplings, slow-cooked wild boar or tender deer meat. Vegetarians will love the chickpea steak or the sorrel soup. “Our new stars are the quail fillet and the Tiramisu with Vana Tallinn liqueur,” adds general manager Rasmus-Rai Kuuspu. “Our new summer menu also includes cod fillet with pea puree and a gooseberry dessert.”
Trofé invites guests to experience a hidden gem where Nordic hospitality and culinary excellence come together in every meal.
