Between them, the couple Maria and Peter Nikula have a wealth of experience – her from marketing and business development and him as a boat designer and engineer. When they set out to start their own business, the choice seemed obvious. “We simply took our skills and experience and applied them to our shared passion for boats and the archipelago,” says Maria. “The first boats we made were boats that would suit our lifestyle.” And the name? “We took our surname and flipped it!” While the boat enthusiasts found inspiration in their own needs and desires, their range of boats was developed to suit professionals who use their boats every day and often in extreme weather conditions.
