Ree Park Safari

Since 2006 it has been possible to visit all the exotic animals from the African wilderness on the slightly colder Scandinavian heath. However, a visit to Ree Park Safari is not similar to a normal visit to the local Zoo – not even close. There is, of course, a fence surrounding the park, but the 11 acres give you plenty of room to feel part of the real deal. You are guided through the park by the experienced staff that seeks to re-tell how wildlife in Africa really is in a fun and family-friendly way. Karsten Ree, the owner of the park, also owns a wildlife sanctuary camp in Kenya and support efforts to preserve the world’s wildlife, a passion that is also present in Ree Park.
