Few musicians can claim to have made as much of a mark in music history as the German band Kraftwerk. As one of the absolute first pioneers to bring in electronic instrumentation, Kraftwerk have with their repetitive rhythms and catchy lyrics been praised worldwide from the early ’70s to today. However, there is also a lot to be said about their visual appearance and expressions. “What’s so exciting about Kraftwerk is not only that their music still works today, but also that they have created a timeless style and expression,” says Andréas Hagström, curator for the exhibition at the Röhsska Museum in Gothenburg.
