Badhotellet
The launch of a Kneipp-inspired spa ritual sees the spa wheel come full circle at Badhotellet in Tranås, southern Sweden. You can once again enjoy a spa treatment going from steaming hot to ice cold, just like the founder intended at the turn of the century. In 1899, businessman Axel Andersson got tired of having to travel to seek remedy for his precarious health and opened Tranås Wattenkuranstalt, today known as Badhotellet. Fresh air, a riverside location and healing hydrotherapy quickly proved to be a winning combination.
