Casall

Maximal functionality and design have been the main focus of Swedish training brand Casall for more than 30 years. In the early 1980s, the company revolutionised the fitness world by opening the first female-only gym in Sweden. Training and fashion have gone hand in hand ever since. It all started when Carl-Axel Surtewall drew on the family’s textile heritage and founded Casall, straight out of college in 1980. Two years later, he opened the first female-only fitness centre in Sweden and, when working alongside female instructors, he realised that there was a lack of sports fashion for women. This led to the launch of the first women’s sports fashion collection in 1984.
