BAMO rents out private fishing areas along the river Gaula in SørTrøndelag,considered by many to be the best salmon river in Norway. “The thought behind BAMO was that we wanted to fund our own fishing expenses. It has never been about making a large profit. For us it is pure passion, all the way,” Andersen explains. He and Holt have secured the rights to rent out three fishing beats along Gaula, in Gauldalen, on behalf of their owners.
“When you rent a beat from us, it gives you and your group exclusive access for a week, from Saturday to Saturday, during the salmon fishing season, 1 June to 31 August,” Andersen says.
