Choco Deli is the world’s northernmost chocolaterie preparing handmade chocolates, cakes and breads. Its mission is to bring a little bit of central Europe to the heart of Finnish Lapland and challenge people’s taste buds with unusual combinations – starting with smoked-reindeer chocolate. In the early 2000s, ambitious chef Jouko Rajanen took the plunge and founded Choco Deli in Rovaniemi, Finland. “Initially, the business started out more like a hobby: I was operating from my garage until I set up the shop in the centre of Rovaniemi in 2012.
