Dyvig Badehotel can be found in the northern part of Als, an island in Denmark that looks like a T-Rex. It is from this position right next to the sea that John Bech Amstrup has been running the hotel since it opened in 2010. The past seven years have been an exhilarating ride for the hotel, and today it is one of the most sought after hotels in Denmark. “It’s always a good idea to book in advance with us,” says Amstrup. “It’s fantastic to see how we’ve been welcomed into this area, and it’s always great that people want to come and stay with us again.” In the high season, the hotel is usually booked out months in advance. “We actually have two German families who book two rooms for 15 weeks over the summer and spend their summer holidays with us.”
