Femund Engerdal is located between Trondheim and Oslo, with large areas designated to two national parks. This is the southernmost part of Lapland, an area of complete wilderness with more than 900 lakes, creeks and rivers, impressive mountains, as well as several herds of reindeer. During the winter season visitors can do cross country skiing, ice bathing, sleep in a snow cave or stay in a Sami tent. However, if you prefer a more relaxed holiday the area also has two outdoor tubs and a wood-fired sauna.
