The restaurant is furnished with fine, early 19th-century furniture and chandeliers, with white linen and candles on the tables. The restaurant seats up to 105 guests in four different rooms. They cater for all types of guests and celebrations, including confirmations, weddings and birthdays. Owner Caroline Olsen Benounis took over the premises in 2015, having worked in the restaurant as front-of-house manager since 2011. “With my passion for food, wine and spirits, I just had to say yes when the opportunity to buy the restaurant came along,” she says. She explains that the food in the restaurant is traditional Norwegian with a modern touch.
