The Danish National Symphony Orchestra has gone fromgreyish institution to global trailblazer in just five years by forming a world-class ensemble around an inspiring concert hall, attracting broader and increasingly younger audiences. On top of that, it is also more diverse as DR Koncerthuset’s effort to make classical music for everyone bears fruit. It seems that classical music has become a welcomed antidote to a fast-paced life and career-making. The challenge is to dispel themyth that listening to classical music requires savviness.
