Located in the heart of Helsinki, the restaurant and bar opened in August 2016 and has taken the city by a storm. Along with its quirky décor, excellent food and great service, Lost in Helsinki is one of the top places to venture to on a night out. “The idea is for diners to jump headfirst into a Finnish restaurant setting – with a twist,” explains Katja Takanen, restaurant manager at Lost in Helsinki. “We wanted to create a massive space where no one would feel lost.” The restaurant’s décor is best described as vintage, but with a mixture of strange and ordinary items everywhere. Old typewriters, telephones and cameras – and even a wall-mounted bicycle – are dotted around the place, and small details decorate every room in the vast space.
