It’s the era of the Swedish pop queens ascending to A-list status around the globe once again, with Tove Lo now joining Zara Larsson and Robyn in their 2026 renaissance period.

Tove’s comeback single I’m Your Girl, Right? starts with the sound of sirens, which is the appropriate level of noise to herald her much-anticipated return. The new song takes the listener to the club; specifically the 4am state of delirium as opposed to the 2am point of euphoria. It’s the first song to be lifted from her sixth LP which arrives in September, titled ESTRUS, which is the term used to describe (what else but?) a female mammal in heat.

Elsewhere from Sverige to the rest of the world, Zara Larsson has capitalised on the delayed reaction to her Midnight Sun smash by releasing a very special edition of the album of the same name that accompanied it. And while it might have taken the world a full year to realise the hit potential of that song, a slew of top-tier artists have wasted no time in queuing up to guest on Midnight Sun: Girls Trip, the new edition of the album. From Madison Beer to Kehlani to Tyla, the star contributions are on every track, but special mention must go to Eurosummer featuring Shakira, the summer hit of 2026 that’s waiting to happen.

Also featured on the Zara album is Robyn (on the cute closing track that’s partially ‘på svenska’, Puss Puss), who is still basking in the glow of her Sexistential album released a couple of months back. The superstar Swede spent a lot of May supporting Harry Styles on the continental leg of his tour. One song that wasn’t afforded the single treatment from that album, but which has become a firm fan fave amongst her following, is Light Up; destined to become a cult Robyn classic of the future. Get on board now, if you’ve yet to.
