Back in November, Swedish superstar Robyn returned after a seven-year break between releases with her big comeback song Dopamine. Mercifully, her release schedule is feeling far less sluggish right now, as she’s already out with a fresh new interpretation of the track. The Jamie xx Remix turns Dopamine into a two-part Nordic saga, with an atmospheric and icy intro giving way to a euphoric climax that’s sweltering under the heat of the club at peak time.

Icelandic artist BRÍET is commencing an ambitious new era now via three ‘acts’! BRÍET – Act I has just been released with lead single Cowboy Killer, with Act II and Act III to follow later in 2026; each reflecting the artist’s different moods, characters and soundscapes. Act I finds BRÍET delving into Americana and injecting her own Icelandic take on soul music into the mix. Bang Bang is a particularly strong standout from the EP; its dreamiest moment which presents the sonic journey you’d perhaps most like to jump into.

Also in Iceland, Sigga Ózk has recently been packing out cinemas all the way from Reykjavík to Akureyri as the voice of Glinda in the Icelandic dub of Wicked: For Good. But she’s now out with some brand-new music of her own, returning with Man On The Moon; an up-tempo and dreamy star-gazer of a tune. Now that’s defying gravity.

Tuut Tuut Tuut is the title of the new single from Finnish pop icon Robin Packalen. It’s also the term he uses to demonstrate the sound he gets when trying to call a phone number that’s blocked him. So no prizes for guessing what the song is about! He doesn’t wallow in misery though, turning his woes into an up-tempo and supremely catchy pop banger for us to enjoy.
