Akvakultur i Vesterålen is an adventure centre for Norwegian aquaculture where you can gain unique insight into the production of salmon in one of Norway’s most beautiful regions. At the facility, you get to go out by boat to visit a real fish farm with salmon and trout, meet a real fish farmer and go on a guided tour of the intriguing exhibits, displaying aquacultural history ranging from the pioneer era in the 1950s to today’s highly technological operations.
